The RIAI are holding a topical online webinar event this coming Thursday, on Changing the mindset from ‘Granny Flat’ to Flexible Home Adaptations.

We have secured some fantastic expert speakers from the RIAI Universal Design Task Force and the AOTI. We believe this course could be of interest to your colleagues and members, and we would be very grateful if you could share it. There is a special rate available of €35 to register.

The course will equip participants with an understanding of the criteria for ‘granny flats’ in existing Development Plans and the benefits of a consistent approach to support positive health and housing outcomes. It will also illustrate best practice in the provision of flexible home adaptations to provide a home for older people and those who need support to live independently.
